Visited the Days Inn for a work event. The hotel is always clean, and the staff are always friendly and able to answer questions about where I'm going. Very happy to visit whenever I do.
I've stayed there for one night. In regards to the pros: I was greated nicely at the reception and the staff was very nice the entire stay. In terms of breakfast I enjoyed it and the food was plenty and different. The beds and room did the job, nothing fancy. Consider: As I walked into my floor I noticed a strange smell that was unpleasant. The sofas at the reception seemed dirty and old, could use a cleaning. The bed although did the job were not the best and I wasn't able to sleep deeply, that being said they'll still do the job and clean. All in all the stay is as excepted except for the bad smell in the hall.
Friendly staff, all amenities were in working order. No complaints here, perfect regular hotel for our 1 day stay.
The Days Inn Wyndham Ottawa Airport is just beside the Ottawa Airport. Near, there are many restaurants, like a Tim Hortons just in front. This hotel is in a good spot. Nice service, the rooms is clean and the staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who go in Ottawa.
My sister is staying at the Day's Inn while she awaits repairs in her new home here in Ottawa. My family visited with her, enjoyed the pool, and we had coffee in the lobby. The people who work at the desk were friendly. The lobby was clean and quiet. The kids loved the pool and played with their uncle for at least an hour in the warm water. It was extremely hot that day, and I very much enjoyed the a/c in the lobby and my sisters room. She also mentioned that the bed was very comfortable and would be catching up on sleep during her stay. The room was quite clean and quiet.
