A child's rocking chair now sits empty. A beautiful big red 11 year old gentle cat, our son, our Rocky, sat in that chair every day. No one else would, none of our five other indoor rescues. The married couple in the next picture are Montana, his green eyed beautiful sister, and Sylvester, an gentle bear of an 8 year old black cat. Over the years, they've been married, divorced and remarried. You'd just have to be there to understand. They are dying.Rocky is gone, thanks to the ineptitude of every last person at this hospital. There isn't anyone blameless at all. We paid approximately $3000 over three days. He had blood work and an ultrasound. IV liquids and feeding. At the end of it, they still couldn't give us a firm diagnosis. Maybe a bladder infection, kidney infection. He was given antibiotics but not for any specific purpose because after three days and $3000, not a single person in that clinic could made a diagnosis. He started to rebound and was on the mend for 8 days before becoming even more sick.We went to our local vet who diagnosed kidney issues within 15 minutes of being there. His kidneys were abnormally small for his size indicating severe kidney disease. Didn't cost $3000 for a real diagnosis. Two days later Rocky died in our arms. The day before, his sister and another female cat of ours started displaying symptoms of a cold. Severe sneezing, running eyes. Our other female, Foxy, started recovering almost immediately, but Montana continued to worsen. We took her to our competent vet who diagnosed her with a URI. Upper Respiratory Infection. Due to the timeline, if was felt that she contracted it from Rocky's visit to this hospital. Rocky's had his favorite blanket with him during his hospital stay. We were given it back, UNWASHED, when we left. To sum up, every single cat in our household has been infected with this disease. Two are close to death, my wonderful married couple, Rocky's Sister and Sylvester, Pepe's brother. Pepe is also sick but appears to be recovering. If you choose to take your animal to this hospital, good luck and make sure you have a lawyer first.

My sister went to Lola for a emergency because a neighbor broke her dogs leg. I drove her there to find out the vet put a splint on her dogs leg saying she had to see a specialist who said she needed to have surgary or remove the leg or cast or start all over with a splint. Three visits. My sister agreed to put on a cast. I would have helped to make payments as my sister was wanting to make payments ever month, but they refused to treat the dog, because my sister didn't have the full funds. She left to call another vet since they refused to help her dog broken leg. The new animal hospital was very helpful and her dog is able to get better and walk again without the help emergency animal hospital on Lola. Who denied my sister's dog who needed to be fixed up. Then they called human society on my sister saying my sister didn't want to take care of her dog animal abuse. When they refused to help her dog! They should be charged with animal abuse for not helping my sister's dog broken leg. I drove my sister to the new animal hospital and we are happy her dog got the help she needed. I put a 1 star bit for me I give a -100 for refuse a animal in need. What animal hospital refuses to make a animal better. I know. This one did.

My dog was brought in with sever injuries to her legs, the clinic was very kind and provided the most amazing service. The next might we returned and had to wait while they were seeing to other dogs with extreme injuries. Many other persons were jerks and got frustrated by the long wait, but the staff were focused on saving the dogs that were brought in. It was a very difficult night for many people there. My hearts go to the family's that lost their dogs. I too lost my dog last night due to her injuries she would not have the quality of life she deserves. Dr. Nicole Robinson was amazing with me. Gave me all the options, was supportive with my decision and gave me the strength to make the decision I did. I thank her and the staff at this clinic from my heart.

My dog Amy had to be hospitalized last week after she suddenly got very sick with vomiting and bloody diarrhea. It took me about an hour after she started feeling sick to go in - dogs vomit from time to time and it isnt always a big deal - but Im really glad I did and that we made the ultimate decision to hospitalize. Even with care, she got sicker before she got better. A huge thank you to the staff who kept me calm and told me that everything was going to be okay. They took care of her like she was their own when I couldnt. They accommodated my visits (as well as my family visiting when I wasnt able to be there). She was in hospital for three days, but it was well worth it because at the end of it all I walked out with my best friend, whos tail was wagging.

I picked up a injured snapping turtle on the side of the road close to Carlsbad that had been hit by a car, the shell was well cracked, including a hole from impact. Called for info, they said bring him in and all was good. If you do see a turtle on the side of the road pick it up and bring it across the road to the direction its headed and if its injured bring it to a vet or animal hospital.-> To the people that think a turtle shell is strong enough to take the impact of a car going 60 K You are honestly really stupid. You put your head down on the road and see if you survive a car running you over at 60
