I order lots of flowers for my companys clients and often deal with florists in different cities over the phone. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service I experienced. I spoke with Cathleen who was very knowledgeable and professional. As someone who used to work in the floral industry I was very happy with how they handled my order.
They have a nice variety of plants, with larger, leafy plants at the front of the store, and tropical and succulent plants at the side and back. They could stand to label more of their plants though, as they had a large, 3-level shelf of assorted plants with no info tags or care tips. Knowing which type of plant you have is so important to figuring its light, humidity, and watering needs, so it would really help to have this information (and the last time I was there, the only people available for questions were part-time staff with somewhat limited knowledge of the plants in-store, unfortunately).
The customer service here is outstanding. I had a list of plants I researched that I was trying to narrow down for my home. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly, they helped with all the questions I had. The staff even encouraged me to come back later in the spring (I went in early March) when there would be more selections of plants, rather than pushing me to purchase something the same day. When I bought two plants, the staff wrapped them in cellophane and in a layer of plastic for the cold. They had a very pretty vase with a minor scratch (1cm long) and offered it to me for free. They had a second basket that they used for in store plants (not for sale) that they weren't using, so they offered it to me for free as well for the second plant I bought. As stated, the customer service here is outstanding. Highly recommend!!
Scrims saved my wedding dinner! In the last minute, they put together three gorgeous table arrangements and a bouquet for me. I could not have been happier with way everything looked, and the wonderful service. Will definitely be going back! Thank you :)
While this florist has an interesting variety of plants and flowers, the prices are far too expensive and unaffordable to most people. It is still worth a visit to check out some of their rare plants but I would not go out of my way. The good news is that the cactus I purchased from here is still alive so at least it appears that their plants are of good quality.
