Beautiful place with delicious foods. I just love it there. The atmosphere is great. The staff is polite. Great service in the town.
Dropped by this place just because I was craving a taco, but got so much more than I bargained for. A small dining space with a lot of character, in the venerable Byward Market building with lively dcor and an open kitchen, the staff was young and energetic. The tacos were cheap for a trio, and when the food arrived the appearance of the meal was beautiful and unpretentious. I had the beef, pork, and chicken, and each was delicious in its own way. Complimentary water in plastic cups is very appreciated on a summer day. They have a salsa/hot sauce bar with a wide variety of flavours and heat, which I enjoyed experimenting with. They also sell them in bottles for takeaway, which I did, but be aware they won't last long in your fridge. I loved the meal and would recommend it to tourists as well as locals who might pass it over due to its touristy location.
This place offers by far the best burrito I have ever tasted. I treat myself every once in a while on my lunch and look forward to it every time. The owner (I think) recognized me after only the 3rd time I visited. He personally thanked me for coming back. Service, taste and speed; all for an incredibly reasonable Byward Market price.
This place is fantastic. A family run place that puts out fast, delicious Mexican favourites. I usually get the tacos but I've also had their burrito, the tostadas and the tortilla soup. All have been awesome. If you're in the market you've got to stop in for a bite. You will not regret it.
Easily the best food in/around the Byward Market. In an area with so much sub-par, tourist trap stuff these guys provide a welcome oasis.The staff are very friendly and quick. The food is great and the best Mexican food in Ottawa.Youd be doing yourself a disservice to not check them out!
