Ask for Valentina and just trust her.I hadn't dyed my hair in years and wanted a change, was referred to Valentina by a gf who has been going to her for a long time and was beyond happy. Seriously talented and incredibly lovely. I let her know what I was thinking, she advised me on what would look best and totally wowed me. She's been my go-to ever since.
I went into Josephs hair selon yesterday, and I ask to get a few highlights done I don't like doing this but nothing really happening.,and im not naming any names they know who they (are). but I didn't like the colour and they knew cause I called back and told them, the blond that they did wasn't good and it didn't even look like blond cause everyone that I knew didn't even notice I got it done , and all they wanted to do was make it a toner darker and thats it. and they wouldn't even blow dry it or straighten again if they did that.so I would a walk out with wet hair! but I just left cause I felt uncomfortable with the look that the staff was giving me. and she sat me down where everyone was looking at me and im a student and I don't have much money to waste on something that was done wrong and couldn't even fix it to make it better like a nice way. and I also called in the morning afternoon to speak with the manager (owner) and he said he would call me back after is client that was in the morning/after noon and its night time now and he never did. and thats what you call professional. I was nice and some times im to nice and I don't like hurting people feelings. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there if you want to fix a colour or highlights they would probably make it worst and you would pay for nothing and you wouldn't get nothing back. I would be careful what you choses for your hair cause people can mess it up and won't fix it. and a toner darker for me wouldn't a fix it.
Amazing service ! Staff are polite and kind. Valentina was the hair stylist I had and she was so patient with me. I was cutting off 10 inches to donate and had had long hair forver. She made sure not to cut off more than I wanted and worked with me to get a final result that I was more than happy with. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have never had a stylist that I trusted like I trusted her. She is great at what she does !

Valentina is professional, friendly and knows her stuff! I trusted her recommendations, and the fact she listened to me throughout the appointment, makes me give a two thumbs up...
I have been coming to Joseph's for years and now it feels more like I am visiting with friends than going to a place of business. Years ago when my regular stylist left I got a haircut from Valentina. Lucky day for me and I only deal with Valentina ever since! I don't even need to tell her what to do to my hair. I just sit down in the chair and let her do what she does and it's always perfect. The entire time she's cutting my hair we have some great conversation and a few laughs. When you go for a haircut it's supposed to be an opportunity to take a bit of a break and relax and leave the salon feeling like a million bucks! Mission accomplished every time!
