This park sits on top of the Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel that runs under Ottawa. It frequently reeks of the contents of said tunnel.It's also a great place to come and visualize the ineptitude of our city council's planning department in relation to the supposed 'park improvement to facilitate co-habitation': Remove all the benches from the playground, run a useless expensive fence down the middle of the park that doesn't solve the dog/kid problem. Pave over the only public road hockey court in the neighborhood with dying turf.Money well spent.If you have kids, or just don't like to linger in fumes from the toxic waste under the park, do yourself a favor and walk five minutes to a better park.
Small but in a quaint neighbourhood with lots of privacy, shade and a great park for unleashing your dog. Several benches are available for seating.
