What a difference an experienced locksmith makes! Needed some spare keys made for some tricky old locks at a new apartment. Staff at Canadian Tire were stumped, and basically told me I was out of luck. Took a chance and visited the folks at Action, who took the time to check what they had that could closely match. Even sent me home with a trial key so I could make sure the thing worked before I went and had them all done. Lovely experience, definitely will recommend!

I've used them in the past to cut keys, no problem. This time, my boyfriend went in person to get a quote to change our locks. Later, I went in and spoke to a lady. She was very helpful and gave me the same quote to change my locks.I called the next day to schedule an appointment. She said she would call me back, but never did. I called again the next day, and spoke to a man. When asked, he said they were too busy to call me back yesterday. Everything was on track to schedule an appointment, until he told me that the charge would be $50 more than the previous quotes. I asked about the discrepancy. Then he started talking about how he didn't think he could help me. I hung up. No time to deal with more attitude after dealing with a situation where I have to get my locks changed!
