As a home owner, I don't need to own or store many tools that I use on a regular basis. It's fast and easy to borrow from the Ottawa Tool Library... the monthly workshop are helpful for tips and tricks on how to use and maintain the tools you borrow or have at home. Great value! As a new homeowner, the tool library has been a great ressource! No need to buy tools for occasional or one-time use, I can simply borrow them and save on cost (and space storing these tools that would be seldomly used). Staff is also super friendly and helpful.
