Huge Store not always easy to find things (or staff to point you in the right direction but when you find staff they are always friendly and help you out). Good parking. Large selection of goods. have always loved Canadian Tire where the sales are always great

Great big store. They also have a big Clarence section upstairs by the bathroom. It has a little of everything. Sometimes you fine something. Depends on what you want. We found a full set of candy apple red kitchen knives, regular $500, on sale for $99 at the time but only $25 in this clearance section. It was an open box and a couple had rust spots on them. Nothing a little vinegar couldn't take care of. I have not seen a Clarence section this size (even though not all that big. 1 aisle) at any other store.

Called to make an appointment to get my car safetied and replace my horn. I asked how much it would be and without hesitation the representative tells me $115 for the safety and $120 for the horn. I go in for my appointment and a new representative tells me its $80 for the safety. So right off the bat I know someone is trying to rip me off. Anyway I ask how long itll be and he tells me less than an hour. So I leave and wait around for 2.5 hours, still no call. I go back to Canadian Tire and see my car sitting there waiting to be picked up. I ask why they havent called and they said its because they havent filled out the safety certificate yet. So he literally does it on the spot in 2 minutes, after keeping me waiting 2.5 hours. I get my invoice and its $320 ($120 more than what I was told). They make up some excuses about the horn and bill me 2 hours of labour (normally a 15 minute job). I pay and plan on never going back. 2 weeks later my horn isnt working again. So I have to call to get them to fix it again under warranty. The representative I spoke to over the phone was very rude and snarky and seemed as if he thought his guys couldnt make mistakes. So I make an appointment with him for Wednesday at 2pm. I go in, Wednesday at 2pm only to find that there is no appointment booked for me. It wasnt a mistake on the date or time either because no appointment was found in the system at all. Luckily they had a mechanic available at the moment so I get it fixed and leave. Never going back. They are rude and scam customers. Half of their mechanics also look like they are barely out of school. Would never trust this company again.

Great parking. Strange escalator to get to the main store. Nice and helpful employees....what can I say? It's Canadian Tire! There's a whole stadium named after this place.... must be doing something right over the last 96 years....oh! Except for that damn currency that's only redeemable at the store itself.....a brief case filled to the brim will get you an oil change if you're lucky!

went to the info desk. Two female employees were talking and laughing. I had to wait till they finished the story and then approach one of them . Asked where I could find power banks. They both looked at me, looked at each other and rolled their eyes. "I never heard about that in my life" the one behind the counter said. Quickly the other confirmed that she did not know either. The one behind the desk typed something on the computer and kept asking me what kind of "power bags". I repeated again: power bank. And again the answer came: "I have no clue what that is, can you describe it to me".I was not there to play charade. Went upstairs and a very very nice employee approached me right away with a smile and a joke. He pointed in the right direction. The power banks were across from the info centre. Hope the management will place a knowledgeable person behind the info desk from now on.
