Both my kids have attended St. Laurent Academy across all levels - daycare, kindergarten, elementary and middle school. We love it there. It has been a rewarding and enjoyable experience for us.

I went to this school for only a year, and it honestly changed my life on education. I came from a rough school in the U.S. and coming here absolutely open new doors on my journey through high school. The principal Mr. Bill is amazing, hes not a stereotypical principal that enforces strict rules and brings the students down after doing something bad. He believes that learning comes in all sorts of form, and is different with every child. Ms. Crupi and Mrs. Doherty are amazing and can help you through either a hard time at school, or even at home and socially. The high school principal, Mr. Mook Sang is absolutely the most unique teacher I have ever been in a class with. His approach to learn is amazing, he makes sure (along with other teachers/staff) that you never fail and always are on track. If I had the chance, I would absolutely come back! My favourite school in the whole entire world. Would recommend any student to come here. Learning isnt anything unless you come here.-Logan Lalonde class of 2021 (grade 9)

I have been working at the Academy since January 2009. My position allowed me to use my wings and implement my own experience in the field. At the Academy, educators, teachers and management team work closely to answer to the children's emotional, cognitive, and physical needs. I love working at the Academy, Mr. Kokkaliaris listens to his staff and gives them the support they need.

We're extremely pleased with St-Laurent Academy. The individualized attention, the positive collaborative classroom environment(s), and strong culture of student inclusion have made for a really amazing school-student (or even school-family) experience. As parents we have constant and easy access to teachers and administrators and are kept up to date with activities, trips, school events and student needs, and enjoy proactive communication in general. For families leading busy, active lives and often moving in multiple simultaneous directions, this is a wonderful thing. Our son is very happy and thriving here, and we're happy that he's happy and thriving. Highly recommend.

We had a really bad 6 month experience at St Laurent Academy with our then 14-month-old, such that even years after the fact, it still upsets me thinking back on it. Being inexperienced first time parents with little daycare options for kids under 18 months, we sent our kid there because our friends sent their kid there, and we thought he could start with a friend. There were many unpleasant things that we experienced and witnessed throughout the time (such as the lack of hygiene awareness from the caregivers, e.g. changing one child's poo diaper on the cold floors, without washing hands and moves onto the next diaper; our child got violently sick for 3 weeks out of the first month of attending, and we highly suspect it was due to their hygiene habits; the caregivers were also older and lacked in any energy to participate or lead any plays or interactions with the toddlers, the little kids are always left standing outside in the cold doing not much of anything with hardly any toys on the ground every time I go for pickup, it's a sad sight; the actual room itself was also uninviting and cold, without any colorful toys or books in plain sight, it was a stark comparison to the other daycares we sent him to after). The school requires a term's (6 months) fee paid up front, and no refund whatsoever (even when we had our doubts the day after the initial visit, they read our email of concern, and instead of responding, cashed our cheque right away, claiming there's no way we can change our minds now), which is why we stuck it out for the 6 months being it was a lot of money to lose. As soon as it was over, we ran for the hills. I would strongly advise any parent considering this school to seek elsewhere.
