July 22, 20181:43 PMWe had CertaPro Ottawa do both our interior & exterior of our house, the exterior being a full cedar house. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up well. At the year 2 inspection we noticed some peeling on the cedar exterior. We waited another year to see if it persisted. In year 3 (only a 2-year warranty) it continued and despite being told by CertaPro that it was likely due to the surface not being dry when they did the job, we agreed to pay for the repairs/redo over the specific areas.We got a quote and when we called to schedule the work were told they would not do it and then ended all communications. We have since called CertaPro HQ and were told (twice) that the franchisee and then the regional manager would contact us. We have heard nothing (3 months?). We let them know we agreed to pay and were NOT contesting the warranty.They were happy to take the initial business but the follow-on and dropping the ball on the "paid repairs" is not acceptable, unprofessional and confusing to say the least. It appears the CertaPro owners do not care about the performance of their franchisees and have no interest in communicating with them to find a solution. And since then the situation has worsened, there is now more work to be repaired.
I'm very pleased with the work that Certa Pro did painting the upstairs of my house. I have cathedral ceilings so this wasn't an easy job. The painters were prompt, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. In fact, everyone that I dealt with was great. I would definitely recommend them and I'll use them again for my next project.

We decided to go with CertaPro painters as they were very professional from the get go. They also provided the best quote of the three that we asked for. We didn't know when we would get our job started, but they called to see if we were available to start the paint job upon receiving a cancellation. The team of Julio and Rolando were very friendly and professional. They were very efficient and completed the job in a timely manner. Our rooms look great and we are very satisfied with the results. We'll call upon them the next time we need rooms painted.
We worked with the CertaPro team this summer to replaster and paint our ceilings, including some tricky cove corners. We were impressed with the professionalism and commitment to excellence shown by both the sales rep and the lead painter who handled our job. I highly recommend CertaPro and would gladly hire them again.
