Great place and great staff! Always willing to help and I get great deals! As well I appreciate their honesty... if what I have is junk they'll tell me even if it hurts to hear and honesty is hard to find!
They give the standard 10% to anything pawned and a FAR lower interest rate than a cash advance on a credit card.. Which I don't have anyways.And as someone who doesn't have friends/family to borrow from and can't get a payday loan, I didn't have a lot of options for getting by before the next time I was getting paid.. I had some gold I could use as collateral though.This place is clean, not overly cluttered & the people working were super friendly and helpful (making it not at all stressful/creepy to go into.)I was very happy with the loan I got, but I wasn't trying to get a % of retail value for my items- I just needed a small loan that I wouldn't have difficulty paying back and they gave me exactly that, quickly, easily and without any hassles.
First time i have been to Bank st location. Tried to sell a brand new 3ds to them. Was told it was worth $60 and they would pay me $30. Yet a quick look around the store told me he was lying to me as the exact same 3ds was priced at $170. He also seemed very quick to get me out of the store after the offer of $30.
Awesome place of business and great super friendly and helpful. Been doing business with them since 2010-2011 and still go only go there, I went to other pawn places even other Howard pawn shops but they're not as good plus staff are not friendly and not helpful.. I recommend going here.
